The Big
Town Group was founded in June of 2006. We desired a group focused on the
solution found in our basic text. As a result of our group conscience the chairperson calls on people to share
Our meetings are as follows:
Tuesdays - Closed Big Book Study - @ 7pm. The chair person studies a part of the basic text in the first 164 pages and studies any history they can find about that part of the book out of conference approved literature and presents it to the group for discussion. The last Tuesday is a Tradition meeting corresponding to the month.
Fridays - Open Speaker Meeting @ 7pm.
Sundays - Closed Step Study @ 7pm out of conference approved literature. The 4th Sunday is AA Comes of Age. If there is a 5th Sunday we study a concept.
What is the difference between an open and closed meeting?
